In this role you will execute from-scratch preparation of all pastries and savory menu items including laminated doughs, yeasted and sourdough breads, cookie and cake batters, custards, sauces, soups, sandwich components, and quiche. Must be able to follow written instructions, be detail oriented, efficient, work cleanly, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be organized, punctual, industrious, able to receive constructive feedback, work well with a team, and remain motivated when working independently.

**** PREVIOUS COMMERCIAL BAKING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED****

We are hiring experienced, pleasant bakers to join our team. Shifts throughout the week include 4:30am-12:30pm, 6:30am-2:30pm. and 8:30am-4:30pm, including one weekend day, along with availability on holiday weeks.

This position receives tips in addition to the hourly wage.

This position is eligible for PTO after 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and savory food items, ensuring high quality and presentation standards.
• Follow recipes accurately, including those for special dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Collaborate with other baking staff to plan and execute menu items effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are adhered to at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
