Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, and motor skills.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety while encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that supports children's learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development to tailor activities to meet individual needs.
- Implement first aid procedures when necessary and maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach that enhances the overall daycare experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education, including nannying or toddler care.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- A background in daycare settings is highly desirable.
