School Wide Assistant Teacher/Floater

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for fostering a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for toddlers and infants.

Duties

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, and motor skills.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety while encouraging exploration and creativity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that supports children's learning experiences.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's development to tailor activities to meet individual needs.
• Implement first aid procedures when necessary and maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach that enhances the overall daycare experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education, including nannying or toddler care.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• A background in daycare settings is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
