What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Instructor position at The Little Gym of Tyler?

If you love kids and enjoy moving and fitness, gymnastics, or coaching while having a ton of fun, you may be the person we are looking for at The Little Gym of Tyler! We are seeking a Morning and Evening Instructor who is fun, has high energy, is happy, and is enthusiastic! No gymnastics experience is necessary, but must be willing to learn and be coachable. Must be able to move with kids and hold them through gymnastics movement.
Pay Rate:
$12.00-$15.00 an hour
Shift and Schedule:
Morning Instructor: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am- 12:45 pm
Evening Instructor: Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm-8:00 pm
Saturdays 8:00-2:00 pm with potential for more based on birthday party booking. As The Little Gym grows, these hours will increase.
Teaching Details:
Parent/Child gymnastics (4m-3y)
Pre-K gymnastics (3-5y)
Grade School gymnastics (6-12y)
Birthday parties, Camps, Parent Survival Nights

What we expect from you:
- Lead the classes.
- Introduce kids to the serious fun of education and play within The Little Gym's unique learning environment.
- Actively teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (Don't worry, we'll teach you how!)
- Lead your team successfully.
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experiences- our members are family here.
- Answer phone and cover front desk when needed.
- Maintain a clean facility and contribute as a team player to get work done.
- Follow the safety rules and guidelines of TLG and TLG handbook.
Customer Communications:
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Communicate students' skills and growth to parents.
- Have open and strong relationships with parents.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
- Excellent social skills and comfort in interacting with parents.
- High energy and positive attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new teaching methods.
- Must be a team player.
