We’re looking for a passionate, energetic Lead Instructor to join our College Station team. This role offers a flexible work schedule, making it a great fit for individuals seeking a fulfilling, dynamic role that can fit around their personal life.
Role Overview
As a Lead Instructor at The Little Gym, you'll lead fun, educational, and engaging classes that help children learn through movement and play. You’ll create a positive environment that encourages both physical and emotional development, all while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading Classes: Teach gymnastics and other movement-based activities to children of various ages, ensuring that each class is engaging, fun, and educational.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and leadership to assistant instructors, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged.
Parent Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and sharing information about upcoming programs.
Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, enrollment, and other tasks to help ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: While a background in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is a plus, we value passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting children’s growth above all else.
- Experience: Experience working with children in an instructional or educational setting is beneficial but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire others.
- Creativity and a passion for developing fun, educational experiences.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Availability: Must have morning availability with flexibility for evenings and weekends to accommodate class schedules.
