What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor position at The Little Gym?
Life’s too short to not work someplace awesome! We are looking for someone that is naturally full of smiles, full of energy and always looking to have fun. We need an instructor that loves teaching children in a positive and loving environment.
A Toddler/Preschool Gymnastics Instructor takes the reins and is a leader of Serious Fun during our regularly scheduled classes.
What we expect from you…
- Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!)
- Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class.
- Comfortable teaching to both children and parents. (Our classes from 4months-3years old are parent involved classes)
- Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
- This is fast pace environment that will keep you moving. Be ready to run, roll, climb, jump, and swing. Children learn through watching you! You don't have to be a top tier gymnast but you do have to be comfortable moving through the gym.
- Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 5 years old. (We will train you on proper technique!)
- Comfortable letting your inner child out! Preschool aged children learn through play and imagination.
- Comfortable demonstrating basic developmental gymnastics skills: forward roll, walk on a small balance beam, moving across gym equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience. We treat our customers like family here. (Smiles go a long way)
- Create a warm, fun and educational environment for the children and families.
- Take pride in our facility-treat it like home. Cleaning and sanitizing is important!
- Available during the week and at least one weekend day. Looking for some morning, afternoon and evening availability. We can be flexible with our scheduling.
- Must attend team trainings (held once or twice a month on Sunday evenings)
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must complete a tuberculosis test and a drug screening
- Background checks are required
- CPR/First Aid certifications are required
- Online daycare licensed training courses are required in addition to The Little Gym training

- You have experience in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
