Little Red Wagon Daycare: Teacher's Aide

Calling all energetic and caring individuals!

Little Red Wagon Daycare is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher's Aide to join our team and support our amazing teachers in creating a fun and engaging learning environment!

About the Role:

In this role, you'll work alongside our passionate teachers to assist in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. You'll play a vital role in helping children thrive by offering support and encouragement throughout their day.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the teacher in setting up and preparing the classroom for various activities and lessons.
• Engage with children through fun and educational games, activities, and crafts.
• Provide individualized support to children, helping them with tasks and ensuring they feel included and valued.
• Observe and report on children's progress and development to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and teachers.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• DCFS background clearance upon hire.

Expected hours: 40 per week
