Position Summary
The Lockwood Group is looking to hire a Project Management Specialist to support the Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) Investment Program in Huntsville, AL.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate quarterly with AvMC VE to assess the execution progress of HQ AMC approved/funded projects.
- Review AvMC VE monthly reports to be cognizant of those projects in execution having issues staying within their proposed costs and schedules. Remain engaged with project IPTs to keep abreast of issue resolution and risk mitigation to keep cost and schedule under control.
- Participate in the AvMC VE Project IPT meetings and Information Sessions to inform prospective project leads about the AWCF Investment Program opportunity and its funding process.
- Participate in IPT telecons and meetings for Depot Special Processes. Be prepared to visit CCAD, LEAD and ANAD, as needed, in support of special process project updates.
- Provide information and guidance to prospective project leads on the requirements and format of AWCF project proposals.
- Consolidate and disseminate project submittals received from government organizations and industry (OEMs and small business)
- Establish and coordinate the joint technical, logistical and supply readiness, financial and user Q&A sessions with the project leads for each project submittal.
- Gather and consolidate questions from each evaluation team in support of Q&A sessions.
- Determine project submittals areas of concern regarding operational readiness and project risk assessment and assist the logistics team in reviewing each project proposal.
- Prepare, staff and coordinate initial HQ AMC G3/4 review of AMCOM-approved project submittals. Support the development and presentation of these submittals in briefings.
- Coordinate with AMCOM G8 SMA HW Branch and project leads of approved projects to develop, review and accept the Request For Funds (RFF) forms required for funding commitment.
- At least 10 of experience in Army program management or operations.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- 100k to 130k

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
