Job Title: In-Room Dining Server
The In-Room Dining Server plays a pivotal role in ensuring each guest has an exceptional in-room dining experience. This is achieved by skillfully and carefully checking, arranging, and presenting the guest with their meal and beverages.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver intuitive, aware, understated in-room dining service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Analyze guests' needs based on body language, eye contact, and level of engagement to provide personalized attention.
- Maintain 100% accuracy of delivered items to rooms, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Contribute to maintaining organization & cleanliness of the In-Room Dining area, adhering to high standards of quality.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with the F&B Management and Culinary team regarding operations, ordering, or logistical needs.
- Listen attentively and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property-specific processes to resolve issues and build trust.
- Greet guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell, creating a lasting impression.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, upholding the highest levels of service excellence.
- Follow established procedures for serving alcohol responsibly, adhering to local laws and regulations.
- Report any employee, guest, and/or vendor incidents and accidents to management promptly.
- Adhere to company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
