Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bar Manager/ Head Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As the Manger, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be vital in creating memorable experiences that keep customers returning.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and perform regular inventory control checks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate service as needed.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in a managing and bartending roles within the food industry, preferably in bar and retail settings.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles related to bar operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with bar safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage inventory control efficiently to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality standards.
- A creative flair for cocktail preparation along with a willingness to learn new techniques.
