The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a part-time Shuttle Driver to join our team at The Lodge at Geneva. As a Driver, you will be responsible for driving non-CDL vehicles, safely transporting guests between various destinations on and off our property. What will you do?
- Safely transport guests and team members, following regular assigned routes and schedules and accurate maintain passengers census records
- Ensure the van is properly maintained and report any mechanical or safety problems to management; incidents or accidents are immediately reported to management
- Drives motor-vehicle when necessary.
More about you
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years’ driving experience, a clean driving record and a valid driver license
- Able to safely operate and drive a van and maintain a safe atmosphere on the vehicle at all times
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written communication
- Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
Physical requirements
- Sufficient vision that is not restricted in the performance of duties, day or night
- Able to sit for long periods, and ability to stand and bend
- Ability to speak clearly and communicate well and hear the traffic and security radio
