What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Coordinator position at The Lodge at Old Trail?
This role is a special person in out resident's lives. You will be meeting the spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and emotional needs of our seniors. The desired candidate needs to have a passion for working with the elderly along with the following skills:
-Must be comfortable with public speaking
-Have the ability to plan and execute activities
-Strong communication skills along with the ability to work well with staff from all departments
-Experience working with dementia population
-Ability to greet volunteers and entertainers
-Ability to implement games, crafts, cooking, and activities appropriate for the resident population you are working with
-Maintain a flexible schedule at times, to cover, or stay for entertainment or parties
-Capable of ordering/purchasing and tracking receipts by the month within budget
-Possess efficient computer skills
-Ability to learn activity state requirements
-Ability to maintain good attendance
