Summary
As a Maintenance Technician at The Lodge at Old Trail, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. This position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional care and support within our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Assist with residential painting and minor renovations as required.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff during maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a residential or commercial setting.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Familiarity with maintenance software for tracking maintenance tasks is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic mechanical skills with knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Experience in residential painting or minor renovation work is beneficial.
- Leadership qualities are appreciated but not mandatory; teamwork is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
