The Logan Institute for Health & Wellness is a longstanding functional medicine practice located in Fishers, IN. Dr. Logan and our staff are respected for the exceptional outcomes we achieve for our patients. Our patient services include several treatment modalities to best resolve symptoms and the underlying root cause of those symptoms.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and people skills to work in collaboration with the medical team and their patients. Experience and/or a degree in Health Sciences, Psychology, communication, education, or related field would be ideal for this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for patients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and assisting with scheduling appointments.
- Assist in rooming the patient and collecting patient information as needed.
- Help patients understand medical procedures and billing questions, ensuring they feel informed and supported.
- Coordinate patient referrals and assist with the follow-up process to ensure continuity of care.
- Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns, ensuring that issues are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Work closely with healthcare providers and office staff to ensure smooth patient interactions and communication.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Track patient feedback and report to management for continuous service improvement.
- Assist with special projects as needed, such as patient satisfaction surveys or clinic events.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Oral and written communication skills needed to develop patient rapport, discuss orders with physicians, patients and families regarding care.
- Effective team player with solid organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
