SUMMARY:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Supply Support Activity. All operations and supporting functions in accordance with applicable DoD policy and directives, other Governmental regulation and directives as applicable, installation policies and procedures and accepted industry standards for the safe, effective, and efficient operation of same type services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide all required retail supply services (Class II, IV, VII, and IX).
- Maintaining signature cards, requisitioning, receiving, processing, supply discrepancy reports (SDR’s), issue, re-distribute, processing Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS), withdrawals, turn-ins, complying with the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and operating the supply LIS for supply management and reporting
- Maintain files manually or in the automated filing system (if available) and maintain a voucher register for Found on Installation (FOI) items. Process DODAAC transactions and requests for new, changes, or deletion of Routing Identifier Codes (RICs) through Army Enterprise System Integrated Program (AESIP) and furnish requester with documentation

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) 2,000lb to 6,000lb.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after use of MHE
- Maintain automated/manual tracking and accounting procedures and handle abnormal customer requirements.
- Perform basic data entry relative to warehouse functions when required. Other duties as assigned/approved by management.

- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge on AR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1 and AR735-5.
- Knowledge of Warehouse functions: receiving, accounting for and properly tracking.
- Knowledge to plan and accomplish a variety of complex work assignments and/or identify problems and be able to analyze and resolve
- Organization skills to prioritize and perform multiple tasks. Intuitive, interpretive, and analytical comprehension to rapidly identify and resolve problems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, talk on the telephone, work on a computer for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, handheld radio, telephone, and keyboard.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:
This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. Job is performed indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays.
