SUMMARY:
Operate the NFH NIPR Café during the hours assigned under the supervision of the NFH IT Section Lead, ensuring the continuous operation of the computers, monitors and printers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate the NFH NIPR Café during the hours assigned under the supervision of the NFH IT Section Lead, ensuring the continuous operation of the computers, monitors and printers.
- Identify malfunctions to the NIPR Café equipment, resolve issues if possible, and report all malfunctions to the IT Section immediately.
- Provide first-rate customer service to the users of the NIPR Café.
- Maintain a log of all NIPR Café Users and enforce the rules for using the NIPR Café.
- Ensure the accountability of the equipment in the NIPR Café, conducting an inventory daily, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Ensure the neatness, cleanliness, and professional appearance of the NIPR Café at all times.
- Perform basic clean-up, sweeping, and taking out trash daily.
- Assist the NFH IT Section Lead with other tasks as assigned.
- Non-standard hours and weekend work will be required.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Basic proficiency at Computer and Network operations
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Outlook
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain post driving privileges
- Prior work with military/government preferred
- Must be able to obtain/maintain Common Access Card and Fort Hood NIPR Account
- Must be able to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines
- Familiarity with military acronyms and terminology preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
