SUMMARY:
The Stock Clerk Receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
- Stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material.
- Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
- Prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock.
- Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
- Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
- May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) 2,000lb to 6,000lb. Perform Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after use of MHE

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Warehouse functions: receiving, accounting for and properly tracking.
- Be able to perform multiple tasks. Follow all Safety Regulation

Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, stoop down, lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must possess visual acuity; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate hand tools.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:
This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. Job is performed indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays.
