What are the responsibilities and job description for the TMP Dispatchers Motor Vehicle Lead position at The Logistics Company?
SUMMARY:
The TMP Dispatcher’s Lead controls standard and non-standard equipment to include GSA leased fleet and Army Owned Non-Tactical Vehicles listed on TD-09 Government Vehicles in accordance with DoD 4500.36-R, AR 58-1, AR 710-2, AR 385-10, AR 600-55 and Fleet Management SOP(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dispatch GSA leased fleet and Army Owned Non-Tactical Vehicles.
- Compile a list of available vehicles that are dispatched weekly.
- Issues keys, record sheets, and credential to drivers.
- Records time of departure, destination, and expected time of return.
- Responsible for all technical and clerical requirements supporting Government decisions to dispose of used vehicles and acquire new
- Responsible for all US Government Fleet Credit Cards in support of all Government vehicles
- Account for, control and instruct operators. In the event of a lost, damaged or stolen credit card Ensure any contractor or non-contractor vehicle operator involved in an accident report to the Military Police (MP).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Specialized knowledge of various travel entitlements, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge to plan and accomplish a variety of complex work assignments and/or identify problems and be able to analyze and resolve
- Organization skills to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
- Intuitive, interpretive, and analytical comprehension to rapidly identify and resolve problems. Follow all Safety Regulation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, talk on the telephone, work on a computer for extended periods of time, and lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone; and the manual dexterity to operate a cell phone, handheld radio, telephone, and keyboard.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:
This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. Job is performed with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Job will require working flexible hours, sometimes under short notice, to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and holidays.
