What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mathematics Teacher position at The Loomis Chaffee School?
The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time Mathematics Teacher to begin teaching in August of 2025. The preferred candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, an advanced degree, and the ability to teach the breadth of the high school mathematics curriculum. Candidates with a demonstrated ability in meeting students where they are and helping them develop essential mathematical skills at introductory levels in the high school sequence will be prioritized.
Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching Visual Arts, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or affiliation as well as participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills. Housing may be available.
