Reporting to Housekeeping Leadership, the Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining immaculate public and back of house areas and Window Cleaning through attentiveness, anticipation, courteousness, and efficiency. The hybrid roles will include specialize window cleaning.
Responsibilities:
Safely clean exterior and interior windows using appropriate tools and equipment
Remove dirt, streaks, and smudges from windows to ensure maximum transparency
Inspect windows for damage or defects and report any issues to maintenance
Ensure the safe use and maintenance of window cleaning equipment
Adhere to safety protocols and use protective gear while performing window cleaning tasks
Maintain a schedule for regular window cleaning to ensure a consistently clear and pristine appearance.
Clean back of house & public areas while maintaining communication with all team members
Respond to calls for spills, cleaning, trash removal, and/or other services as requested
Maintain a friendly and engaging disposition in guest-facing areas
Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure their health and safety as well as others around them
Keep the work environment clean and organized
Be responsive, engaged, and follow through on all requests
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in hotels or a related field preferred
Ability to interact with guests and answer basic information questions
Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
