This is a full-time position (average of 30 or more hours per week) Availability for evenings, weekends and holiday.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
The restaurant host will ensure that all guests are immediately greeted and welcomed into the restaurant and will lead guests to their tables, manage reservations and communicate with front of house servers and managers when they have a new party in their section.
- Greet all guests immediately with a warm smile and attend to the guest’s needs for seating. Use the guest’s name during interactions.
- Follow procedures for accepting reservations and assign tables to servers.
- Support servers and wait staff by ensuring guest needs are met such as provide water, drinks to tables. Assist in clearing tables and organizing silverware as time allows.
- Thank guests as they leave and ask about the guest’s experience. Convey any pass on information to the Restaurant Manager. Encourage guests to complete online reviews.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
- High school or equivalent education required.
Experience
- Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry
Knowledge/Skills
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills and phone etiquette
- Flexibility when working alternating shifts
- Ability to embody and impart the Loren’s unique culture to all associates
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Physical Demands
- Able to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
