In this role, you’ll be part of a team that provides meaningful legal support to public entities such as school districts , focusing on business, construction, development, and real property matters. You will be advising school districts and other public entities on various matters, including construction projects, real estate development, and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) . Litigation experience representing public entities is a plus, as is familiarity with developer fees and CFDs. Your role will involve drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, and providing high-quality counsel to ensure compliance with the law and client success.Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of legal experience, a passion for representing public entities , and a strong interest in school district and public agency law. The ability to advise on both transactional and litigation matters, coupled with a commitment to staying updated on evolving legal issues, will be crucial in supporting our clients.
