Pay Range- $23.54 - $26.60/Hourly
Metro One is looking for an unarmed security officer with relevant work in a SOCC environment. This officer will be responsible for continuously monitoring and responding to security alerts and events to protect the organization from threats. This role involves real-time security event monitoring, initial triage, and escalating incidents to management when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems
- Perform initial triage of security alerts and escalate incidents per established procedures.
- Document security events and maintain incident logs for compliance and reporting.
- Follow incident response playbooks to contain and mitigate security threats.
- Conduct basic threat analysis and recommend appropriate actions.
- Assist in vulnerability scanning and reporting security findings.
- Collaborate with the IT and security teams to ensure effective threat detection.
- Support shift-based SOC operations, including 24/7 coverage if required.
- Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at designated locations.
- Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Qualifications:
- Security experience Required (minimum 2yrs)
- CCTV experience
- Security Programs: Genetec

Your background:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have a solid/stable work history
- Drug Testing and Background screening required
- Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS
- State Security License or ability to obtain one - No worries if not, we can help you!
