Key Responsibilities:
- Reservation Management:
- Utilize Property Management System (PMS) to manage and process reservations.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of booking information.
- Confirm reservations with guests and handle any changes or cancellations.
- Guest Services:
- Answer guest questions and address concerns both in person and over the phone.
- Provide detailed information about properties, amenities, and local attractions.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Communication:
- Handle phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
- Once property manager, serve as the primary point of contact for cabin owners, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Coordinate between guests, property owners, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Staff Coordination:
- Assist in scheduling housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance employees based on property needs.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate reservations and ensure timely service.
- Communicate any special requests or requirements to the housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports, invoices, and other administrative documents.
- Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining office equipment.
- Property Management:
- Conduct periodic property inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with relevant contractors or staff.
- Assist with the management of property listings and online profiles.
- Clean cabins when necessary - our managers make sure the job gets done!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience and/or education in property management or hospitality is a plus.
- High computer proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or office administration REQUIRED.
Work Environment:
- This position is based in a small office setting at a resort with regular interactions with guests, property owners, and staff.
Long-Term Growth Opportunity:
The goal of this position is to promote the successful candidate to a Property Manager role.
As Property Manager, you will:
- Directly deal with cabin owners, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues.
- Schedule and train all housekeeping and office staff.
- Oversee reservations and maintenance scheduling.
- Bring new cabins under management, expanding the property portfolio.
- Handle all billing for cabin owners, payments, invoicing, and payroll reporting.
- Take on a leadership role within the organization, driving operational excellence and growth.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience, with raise as you graduate into Cabin Manager.
- Housing available in December 2025 upon promotion.
