Job Overview

As the Social & Google Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing client accounts to drive better performance and growth. Your role involves ensuring efficient collaboration across functions and timely & accurate completion of tasks including smooth campaign launches, ongoing campaign management and diligent attention to campaign billing. You will be responsible for supporting overall media strategy, bringing thought leadership to Social & Google campaign execution, building proposal recommendations, compiling campaign reporting and proactively sharing performance optimizations


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set strategy and execute Google & social campaigns for clients with excellence.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs for each client.
  • Review budgets, pacing, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate on research, campaign creation, and optimization efforts.
  • Conduct extensive audience, placement, and platform research to help inform client strategy. Apply best practices to campaign set up and make proactive recommendations based on performance and data as campaigns launch.
  • Create and present monthly and/or quarterly reports with analysis of campaign performance along with strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Collaborate with manager and other specialists to ensure the strategy is aligned across all channels.
  • Assist in client proposal development and new business efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Utilize Placer.AI to observe and implement demographic audiences based on client’s store traffic and identify key competitor zip codes.
  • Update ad copies to enhance their effectiveness and drive more compelling calls to action (CTAs); lean into AI & dynamic tools as relevant.
  • Analyze Google Analytics & Meta ad accounts to gather insights and inform strategy.
  • Create relevant audiences based on popular or high-trafficked landing pages to enhance targeting.
  • Set up events/goals for tracking purposes and confirm conversion pixels are running correctly.


Requirements

  • Attention to detail and clear ownership of assigned channel and brand responsibilities.
  • Be a digital thought leader, driving strategy behind activation for responsible channels and partnerships
  • Stay on top of platform changes
  • Weekly scrub of all assigned accounts to ensure performance and full delivery
  • Detailed understanding of assigned brands and their goals; proactively bring forward questions and opportunities and new ideas to enhance performance
  • Evaluate brands running across these key platforms - in cases where budget is not having impact, work with team to determine alternate recommendation; in cases where performance is strong and there is untapped opportunity, present incremental budget recommendation
  • Proactivity in sharing recommendations, optimizations, and new opportunities; bringing forward suggestions for improvements in ways of working
  • Sharing education across team
  • Consistently delivers in providing requested information, adapting based on changes and following up to ensure excellent execution
