The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s mission is to help drive the economic growth of our State by empowering and sustaining the minority business community through the development of local minority chambers.
Advocacy
The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation serves as the VOICE for small, minority and rural businesses across the state of Louisiana. Our advocacy efforts are focused on:
- Minority, Women, & Small Business utilization across all industries engaging in procurement or solicitations of business need
- Technical assistance and organizational support for business organizations domiciled in the state of Louisiana
- Legislative policy initiatives relative to the growth and sustainability of small and rural business owners

The Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Foundation Agri-Aquaculture Center of Excellence (AACE) is seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Specialist. This full-time position will support daily operations and play a critical role in managing administrative tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of activities, and providing excellent support to staff, visitors, and class participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Order and manage office and operational supplies.
- Schedule tours and coordinate technical assistance classes.
- Conduct follow-ups with class participants.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
- Provide general office support to team members as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in administrative roles, meeting or exceeding minimum industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
