Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Utilize Aloha POS system to assist with order taking and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests during peak hours to enhance overall dining experience.
- Uphold restaurant standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding guest relations and customer service is crucial for success in this role.
