JOB TITLE: Warehouse and Inventory Control Lead

Summary:

This position is to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities and inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for orderly receipt and acceptance of incoming materials to verify conformance to quality standards and technical requirements.
• Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy.
• Track and verify shipments (inbound and outbound).
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing and inventory control activities.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
• Work with management to identify areas of improvement in Storage and ordering practices.
• Maintain workplace duties and ensures safety is the highest priority in the workplace.

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Lift 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Special Skills or other Requirements:

• Basic to Intermediate Excel User.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Demonstrated hands-on approach and an ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify, cope and anticipate problems, as they arise.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish-English) required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
