Responsibilities and Illustrative Duties:
CUSTODIAN:
Summary of Duties: Responsible for performing routine custodial tasks; perform general cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain all interior spaces occupied by Loveland Center, Inc. to standards set by the Chief Operating Officer, and/or President/CEO.
- Maintain Loveland Center, Inc. Venice Bldg. A, B, C, D, E and grounds to standards set by the Chief Operating Officer, and/or President/CEO.
- Keeping the dumpster area free of debris and ensuring recycled items are deposited in their proper receptacle.
- Notify Maintenance Coordinator of safety concerns.

Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, and rest rooms on a daily basis
- Follow the identified cleaning checklist.
- Ensure proper hygiene supplies are available each day in each restroom.
- Power clean floors as needed on Saturdays
MAINTENANCE:
- Responsible for light maintenance work, unplug toilets, weeding, moving furniture, storing furniture, buffing floors and washing carpets/furniture etc.
- At the request of the Maintenance Coordinator you will be asked to complete light maintenance work such as cleaning gutters, power washing buildings, cleaning/moving furniture.
- Helping the Maintenance Coordinator to complete some projects such as painting, picking up supplies, moving furniture etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: No requirement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Must be able to utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe manner.
- Must be able to use a broom, mop and vacuum cleaner.
- Must have some experience with maintenance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to push minimum 50 pounds (power cleaning appliances); ability to lift minimum 50 pounds (trash and supplies).
- Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking,
EXTRAORDINARY WORK CONDITIONS: Outdoor weather conditions.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must complete all mandatory agency training within the initial agency orientation period.
- Attend additional hours of agency approved training in job-related topics per year that is above and beyond the required agency requirements.
