Job description: Full-time Occupational Therapist
Venice, North Port and Port Charlotte locations
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work at our Venice, North Port and Port Charlotte Campuses. Therapy services will be provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental delays on The Loveland Center’s campus.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work at our Venice, North Port and Port Charlotte Campuses. Therapy services will be provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental delays on The Loveland Center’s campus.
Essential Job Functions:
- Evaluate, Assess, Create, and Modify Occupational Therapy Plans of Care
- Provide Occupational Therapy Treatment to patients.
- Observe, record and report to the patient conditions, reactions and responses related to treatment.
- Maintain daily records of treatments and document progress notes at established intervals within guidelines of company policy.
- Reports to work as scheduled.
- Communicate with Interdisciplinary Team Members, consult with family members, physicians and other healthcare professionals, as appropriate.
- Practice efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment.
Essential Job Requirements: Active State license required in good standing.
Education: Master’s Degree or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred, open to new graduates
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment.
- Good communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
- Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of clients.
- Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $ 40-45 per hour
