Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute broadcast operations for The Lovett Network's broadcast & live streaming efforts on NFHS
- Attend home and away Athletics events, executing camera operation, technical directing, graphics operation, audio mixing, sideline reporting, commentating, and/or leading a team of Lovett Network student crew members
- Assist in the planning, writing, and managing of sideline reporter and commentator editorial scripts
- Design and/or edit on-air scoring and team graphics
- Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and tools for marketing and communications
- Other duties as assigned by the Broadcast & Video Production Manager
- Experience in digital photography/videography, Production Truck software, NFHS live streaming platform highly preferred - Adobe Creative Suite software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office, also preferred
- Driven individual who is interested in supporting Lovett Athletics in its broadcast goals
- Team player who is willing to ask questions and is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a casual working environment
- Possess excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; able to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
- Genuine enthusiasm for creating compelling broadcasts to support Lovett Atheltics and its brand
- Experience with content management systems and web design preferred
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Lovett and desire to serve as an ambassador for the School internally and externally
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications a plus
- Strongly interested in a career in a field related to marketing, communications, public relations, English, etc.
- Self-starter, good time management, creative, with the ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Ability to work well independently, and within a team
