What You'll Do
Lubrizol is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to support our Calvert City plant in their journey towards operational excellence. The primary objective of this role is to spend time on the floor driving continuous improvement projects, with a special focus on standardization and automation while capturing the results along the way. The day-to-day efforts will focus on oversight and implementation of the Lubrizol operating system to include One Lubrizol Standard Work, supporting 4-step projects, and running internal assessments, and managing productivity projects.

What You'll Do
Lubrizol is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to support our Calvert City plant in their journey towards operational excellence. What We're Looking For
- Drive productivity for the plant managed by corporate software.
- Own site responsibility for implementation of the Lubrizol operating system driven by the central team, beginning with core elements
- Key inflow / outflow exchange with the central continuous improvement team
- Responsible for maintaining productivity tracking / dashboard for the plant / monthly metrics
- Completing starred Value Stream Map (VSM)
- Support manufacturing technology team in defining, prioritizing, and executing automation roadmap and projects
- Develop and train additional resources within the plants to support continuous improvement projects
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or program management
- Minimum 5 years of Operations/Manufacturing experience
- 2 or more years of Continuous Improvement experience
- Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt
- History of implementation of LSS, role based standard work, 5S programs
- Solid communication, facilitation, and proven project management experience skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation skills from preparing presentations to delivering it
- Working knowledge of documented management systems, such as ISO 9001 and RC14001.
- Value Stream Mapping experience
- Travel up to 25%
- Must be willing/able to work in a plant environment. Ability to wear all required PPE
- Experience in organizational, cultural, and technical change management.
- Black Belt / Master Black Belt, preferred
- Training development and delivery experience (due to responsibility to train site resources)
- Lean Manufacturing experience
