SUMMARY
Responsible for meeting all guest service needs, alcohol portioning, food service, and restaurant cashier functions. This position may act as a Server, Floor Server, Bartender, Bar Back, Host/Hostess, or an Expeditor, when needed, as directed by Food and Beverage (F&B) Leadership or the Manager on Duty (MOD).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote guest service as a priority; which includes but is not limited to; providing prompt and courteous service to guests and receiving and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by recognizing, assisting, and resolving any adverse issues.
- Ensure that guests are aware of menu items, special promotions, and may assist in ordering.
- Relay orders correctly into the Toast POS system.
- Garnish and decorate dishes in preparation to serve.
- Serve guests and respond to additional requests by following the standards of quality that have been established.
- Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course according to established duties.
- Assist fellow team members in performing their duties whenever needed or as directed by Food & Beverage Leadership or MOD.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly stock service areas, bar, storage areas, and beer coolers.
- Assist in resolving guest concerns regarding food and/or service issues by communicating them to F&B Leadership.
- May assist with daily and monthly food, liquor, beer, and wine inventory.
- Adhere to established food and beverage policies, Washington liquor laws, and sanitary codes.
- Follow accurate cash register accounting and procedures include balancing impress and properly filling all paperwork associated with this process correctly.
- May assist in cross-training in applicable Food and Beverage areas.
- Meet attendance guidelines by reporting to work as scheduled with dependability and consistency.
- Promote and encourage positive guest relations.
- Represent the company in a positive manner.
- Maintain professional dress code standards and personal appearance as dictated by the policy manual.
- Responsible for removal of trash and empty kegs to their respective areas outside for pick up and removal.
- Other duties as assigned.

Ability to perform as a food and beverage server, floor server, bartender, bar back, host/hostess, or expeditor, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; A minimum of one (1) year of consistent high-volume serving experience within the food and beverage industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read, write, speak, and understand English. Read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Familiar with Toast POS system preferred.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to multi-task is a must.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Class II gaming license issued by the Skokomish Tribal Gaming Commission; Class 12 Mixologist Permit; Valid State Drivers License, and State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Workers Permit.
