Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly

Part-Time Position
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience as a Health Promoter, Community Health Worker, Health Educator, or Outreach Worker
- Experienced with group presentation and facilitation
- High School graduate or equivalent with college coursework in maternal and child nutrition, nutrition and food science, and/or culinary arts
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Valid California driver's license
- Current California registration for personal transportation
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance
Description of Duties:
• • Promotes project activities and conducts community-based outreach and education activities to eligible community members, groups, and organizations in the project service area
• Facilitates educational presentations and food demonstrations
• Makes follow-up calls to program participants; performs data entry according to guidelines
• Assists with the preparation of materials and supplies for presentations and food demonstrations
• Provides administrative and logistic support to project activities
Position requires a background check and health clearance
