What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Director position at The Lutheran Home Association?
The Lutheran Home Association is seeking a Human Resources Director. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, building and implementing a robust recruitment and employee retention program, administering new hire onboarding and orientation, wage and benefits administration, performance management, disciplinary matters and employee training & development. This position serves the Skilled Nursing Facility for The Lutheran Home Association: Belle Plaine (MN). This position works collaboratively with the HR team at the Belle Plaine campus sister facilities.
Qualifications required:
- Associates degree with a minimum of three years healthcare recruiting/marketing or human resources experience.
- Must be energetic, resourceful, proactive, creative, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The candidate must display persistence, motivation, a high level of confidentiality, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership skills, and sound judgment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
- Must also have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and maintain a professional demeanor under stressful conditions.
