What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at The Lutheran Home at Kane?
Part Time
Good physical health and mental alertness to be capable of performing job functions and complete work assignments in a timely manner Ability to pass employment physicals as required.
Must have ability to move, bend, stoop and twist without difficulty, be on feet an extended period of time and must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Check for changes in residents' diets or status
Prepare and pour juices, beverages and nourishments
Assist cook with serving as instructed
Serve meals and beverages to residents, visitors and staff
Keep storage areas clean, stock shelves and update supply charts to maintain inventory control
Clean and maintain equipment
Stock dining rooms, carts and kitchen areas as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment and reports potential hazards
