Facility & Events Coordinator Contractor
Hours will vary, usually 1-3 events per month
Generally, Thursday-Sunday, day and / or evenings as needed
Scope of Work : The Facility & Events Coordinator plan
s events, ensures the facility is ready for events, and is onsite for event management for Arts Center events and facility oversight for venue rentals. Types of events include reunions, birthday parties, weddings, concerts, corporate functions, gallery exhibit receptions, community events and performances. This scope of work requires lifting up to 40lbs for events.
Required Skills : Project management, friendly customer service, excellent written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Word, Excell, Outlook, Google calendar, Canva and point of sales systems. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Contractor will assist Arts Center with the following tasks :
Oversee facility during events and site rentals
Plan community events with oversight of the Executive Director
- Plan and execute events including, preparing the facility, set up and clean up
- Recruit necessary volunteers
- Provide coordination services during the event
Assist the Fund Development Director with development events approximately 4 times per year, including preparing the facility, set up, clean up and volunteer coordination and other tasks as requested to prepare for events
Support the concert committee with 5 concerts per year including promotion, preparing the facility, set up, clean up and volunteer coordination
Work with the Gallery Coordinator and exhibition committee to support gallery art receptions if necessary

Contractor pay range is $23 per hour to $25 per hour depending on experience.
