Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong desire to help customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs and questions.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing the customer experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Maintain an organized cash register area, ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals through effective teamwork and communication.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing products within the store.
• Perform retail math calculations as needed to support sales activities and inventory control.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls appropriately.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations and techniques is a plus.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $16.66 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
