Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Cook located in Riverside, NJ. The Banquet Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for banquet events. Daily tasks include planning menus with the banquet supervisor, following recipes, ensuring food quality and presentation, managing food inventory, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. The Banquet Cook will also collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during events.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and culinary arts
- Experience in menu planning and recipe adherence
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus
