Summary/objective
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assess and analyze current production processes
- Develop, draft and present improved production processes
- Design and implement cost effective changes
- Help to maximize productivity of machinery and associates
- Follow product specifications and quality control
- Determine application and location of equipment and tools in production
- Training associates and maintaining records
- Innovative ways to increase production and efficiency of processes without compromising quality
- Develop and implement quality control measures that effectively monitor products and desired results
- Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently
- Troubleshoot
- Work within set budgets
- Communicate with clients and vendors to obtain necessary materials and/or equipment
- Project Management
- Develop capital project justifications
- Manage continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all State, Federal, and company safety rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- CAD software or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- 2 years’ experience in Production/Industrial Engineer; managerial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of mathematics, physics, and mechanics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
- Lean Manufacturing

- Digital Press Operator/Technician
- Production Supervision or Management experience
