POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Support Agent (CSSA) is the first stepping stone towards developing within The Mahoney Group. This entry level position is responsible for assisting in the support of insurance business for Commercial Lines accounts.

Job duties are performed in an indoor office setting with computers, telephones, and copy/print machines. Noise levels are minimal to moderate.

The Customer Service Support Agent (CSSA) is the first stepping stone towards developing within The Mahoney Group. This entry level position is responsible for assisting in the support of insurance business for Commercial Lines accounts.
OBJECTIVES
- Provide administrative support services to Account Managers as it relates to client needs
- Maintain and update client files and records within the agency management system
- Prepare and/or process policy related material such as correspondence, late notices, certificates of insurance, ID cards, etc.
- Navigate carrier websites to pull loss runs, claims status reports and policy endorsements.
- Miscellaneous data entry and filing as assigned
- Review and study material to work towards obtaining insurance license
- Attend and participate in internal meetings and complete required training
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong computer operating skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work, collaborate, and communicate with individuals at varying levels across the organization
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Strong computer operating skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of customer service related experience

- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds on occasion
- Regularly talk to communicate and hear to understand
