WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Building Technician on this team, you are skilled at responding to maintenance requests and handling any necessary repairs, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, and painting. You must also conduct minor repairs and preserve the general quality of a facility. Your duties include conducting routine maintenance checks, identifying building maintenance needs and reporting them to our Tech Support Coordinators and to Property Managers for follow on maintenance care. Some of your typical daily duties include:

• Faucet repair
• Standard toilet/urinal troubleshooting.
• General carpentry.
• Tile repairs.
• Caulking.
• Drywall repair.
• Staining, varnishing, and painting.
• Time clocks adjustment.
• Door adjustments.
• Interior ballast replacement.
• Alarm functions.
• Commercial thermostat adjustment.
• Requisition & purchase materials.
• Ability to proficiently use mobile devices.
• Communicate site issues with Tech Support Coordinator(s) and Account/Property Managers.
• Must own and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A minimum of 2-years’ experience in building service/maintenance and the ability to safely operate power and hand tools.
• Boilers License and/or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Customer relation skills. Kind, respectful, helpful always.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
