WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our Grounds Technicians receive jobs through work orders using a technology delivery and reporting system designed to support service delivery through a process of communicating, coordinating, and scheduling aligning work requirements with customer needs servicing buildings grounds maintaining the property visual appearance, servicing vacant tenant spaces, checking the serviceability of maintenance rooms, and inspecting premises for maintenance support needs. Using a company assigned service vehicle and service technology tools you will be sent out to support clients.
Outdoor policing:
- Picking up litter and debris from grounds, parking areas and sidewalks.
- Monitor and report on outdoor lighting.
- Monitor and report potential issues and hazards.
- Visually inspect the exterior of building for signs of concern or damage.
- Visually inspect parking lots, sidewalks and outside surfaces are well maintained.
- Change garbage cans liners (if applicable).
- Check the roof and roof drains monthly.
- Record meter readings monthly (provide date they should be read).
- Small projects as requested and approved by TMT (additional time may be needed).
Vacancy Checks:
- Check entry doors & windows for security, clean bugs/cobwebs/light debris from interior space.
- Check lighting function / clean out bugs.
- Check interior window blinds/sill for bugs.
- Check ceiling tiles / roof leaks.
- Check restroom condition / run water & flush toilets.
- Stock toiletries & trash bags.
- Check temps in winter months.
Mechanical / Electrical Room Checks:
- Keep clean and maintained.
- Visually inspect for any issues (assorted electrical panels, meters, light timer, etc.).
- Visually inspect the sprinkler riser room for signs of leaks or damage.
- Check temps in winter months.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Customer relation skills. Kind, respectful, helpful always.
- Positive mental attitude, mission focused and a willingness to work well with peers.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
- Use a company provided iPhone device to receive and send work order information.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- This position may require occasional hours on the evening or weekend based on client needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
