Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server / Bartender to join our team in a vibrant downtown environment. As a Server / Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, taking care of tables, maintaining the bar area, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or similar roles within a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food service practices and hospitality standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques.

Pay: $2.13 - $5.25 per hour
