What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback, Busser, and Food Runner position at The Manhattan Project?
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner/Barback/Busser to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the efficient and smooth operation of our dining establishment by delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables, bussing tables and bar backing. You must be willing to work a minimum of shifts per week and have weekend availability. Tuesday-Friday shifts would start at 4pm. Saturday shifts would either start at 11:45am or 4 pm. Sunday shifts would start at 945am or 4pm.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders promptly to guests ensuring accuracy and presentation
- Assist in bussing and setting up tables as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar
- Cleaning & mopping behind the bar
- Stock the bar at the end of each shift
Requirements
-Must be able to change a keg
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $12-$13 PLUS cash tips.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
