Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your hospitality skills and ability to communicate effectively will ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain an accurate waitlist.
- Communicate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist in managing the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Knowledge of guest relations principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent guest services.
Hours & Availability for 10-20 hours Tuesday- Sunday. Weekend availability a must.
Tuesday - Friday shifts begin at 4pm or later. Saturday shifts begin at 11:45am or later. Sunday shifts begin at 11am or later.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
