Major Responsibilities
Month End Close
- Coordinate legal entity closing process
- Establish/communicate deadlines
- Perform Revenue recognition review & documentation
- Review entries for completeness & accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policy & US GAAP
- Analyze balance sheet accounts for accuracy
- Coordinate cross functional pre-close review
- Ensure entity results are loaded to consolidation system accurately and at appropriate level of detail
- Support analysis of variances to Plan/prior year
Planning
- Lead legal entity planning process
- Establish and communicate detailed planning schedule
- Develop tools for efficient building, review and loading plans to consolidation software and ERP system
- Forecasting of all employee costs - direct, indirect and SG&A, hourly, salary & fringe
- Prepare detailed balance sheet in accordance with corporate planning requirements
- Develop CAPEX plan, cashflow and priority ranking
- Support regional and local analysis and bridges
Control Environment
- Establish and maintain legal entity control environment
- Ensure compliance with company policy and USGAAP
- Work with auditors and corporate finance team to establish key controls for SOX reporting
- Act as control owner for assigned controls and ensure other control owners are executing their roles effectively
- Primary contact for all audit activity, ensuring all participating functions are aware of obligations and deadlines
- Review all deficiencies and coordinate remediation, communicate issues to local leadership
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of systems & reports required for successful administration of controls
- Establish and maintain approval authority and ensure proper segregation of duties
Functional leadership
- Provide direct first level management/support for Shared Services (AP/AR/Cash), G/L and Payroll
- Review output of each function to MEC, payroll and supplier payment processes
- Ensure all internal and external reporting obligations are met timely and accurately
- Ensure systems employed by teams are secure and reporting/analytical tools used are accurate and efficient
- Support the functions in problem solving and process development/enhancement
- Support the staffing and personnel development of team in each function
- Foster environment of continuous improvement
Financial Reporting
- Ensure ERP and supporting systems design captures required information to meet all internal and external reporting obligations of the legal entity
- Input to corporate consolidation tool/process
- Input to corporate tax packages
- Requirements for state & local tax filings
- Reporting related to borrowing or special project financing/grants
- Management reporting to include P&L, BS and cash
- Special reporting requirements\requests
Project leadership
- Provide financial and business leadership for legal entity projects
- Support development of project plans/charters
- Establish financial control and reporting requirements
- Develop capable team members from Finance and monitor tools/techniques used in support projects
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be knowledgeable in use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in an ERP system (Baan) Purchasing, MRP planning & Inventory; EPMX quote system, Lotus Notes

Required Education and Experience:
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Must have eight (8) to ten (10) years experience in Accounting/Finance
- People Management
Preferred Education and Experience
- Hands-on experience with one of the major ERP systems and consolidation software strongly preferred.
- Must have a CPA certification/licensing
Physical Requirements:
- Must be available to travel up to10%

Pay Range: $125K to $201K
