What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Coordinator position at The Manitowoc Company?
As a Parts Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for identifying, locating and obtaining parts in order to meet customer’s needs
This position will be located at the Billings, Montana branch for MGX Equipment Services and report to the Parts Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain inventory control.
- Research and order parts for customers.
- Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Provides phone and email correspondence to customers regarding quotes and diagrams.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Parts or Service department.
- Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry preferred.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a customer/client focus.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
- Knowledge of aerial and earthmoving equipment.
- Travel may be required 5% of the time or less.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a full-time position with typical working hours between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions.
