Key Responsibilities
- 10 years of experience in managing municipal, residential and site engineering projects
- The Senior Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible to define project objectives, prepare proposals, define project timelines, monitor project budgets and timelines
- Responsible for reviewing and approving staff hours and project expenses, review project technical accuracy, ensure that all project tasks are completed, ensure that all bidding documents / specifications are prepared, perform Construction Administration of Municipal Projects
- Proficient with reviewing plans submitted by outside design firms, communicate with management, clients and other staff, approve monthly invoices, and coach, mentor, and direct project team members
- In addition, the Senior Engineer / Project Manager will be expected to assist the Designated Municipal Engineers by attending city meetings when requested, preparing cost estimates, preparing grant applications, and communicating with residents.
