Seeking Clinical Coach for The Manor, a private residential addiction treatment center (www.discoverthemanor.com).

The Manor provides personalized, trauma-focused residential treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns. Nestled in Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine Forest, clients live and receive treatment within a comfortable and confidential setting. As an independently owned facility, The Manor prioritizes clients' clinical needs, offering holistic, personalized treatment plans and private suites—all designed to foster respect, healing, and lasting recovery. The Manor focuses on treating underlying trauma to help individuals gain the skills they need to move forward and heal.
This position works under the supervision of the Clinical Director and Program Directors and is primarily responsible for the delivery of professional services and for general client care.
As a Clinical Coach, you will:
- Provide support to clients at the Residential Treatment Center.
- Provide transportation to clients within the scope of daily operations.
- Comply with Manor’s procedures, maintain healthy work culture, and establish a therapeutic milieu.
- Adhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in contact with all clients and guests.
- Assist in completing required forms with clients, such as, release of information, recurring reports, outcome measurements, and medication consents.
- Assists with intake process, including searching client's personal belongings upon client permission.
- Assist the clinical team with direct service to clients through all stages of their treatment.
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) to log all clinical data.
- Complete all State Required Trainings (if needed).
- Support the recovery activities of client's.
- Act as a representative of the treatment staff and observe patient activity in the clinical milieu.
- Maintain a visible presence on the unit.
- Transport clients in the facility vehicles when needed.
- Coordinate the necessary administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Circulate throughout the building and be alert to fire and safety hazards.
- Help keep a clean and safe environment for clients and staff members.
- Assist with training new coaches as needed.
- Observe, document, and report on clients’ behavioral patterns, client questions, and/or concerns.
- Serves as a positive role model and mentor to adults in recovery.
- Facilitate implementation of the program schedule of the Residential Treatment Center.
- Collect, document, and report urine drug screens and breathalyzer testing.
- Maintain and update current records of client related data.
- Contact staff on-site immediately should a conflict arise with a client - if further intervention is needed contact the Program Director and client’s Primary Therapist.
- Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements.
- Support clients through their stabilization phase.
- Other various tasks to support all program areas.
Job Specifications:
- A willingness to understand a 12-step program, as well as other relevant recovery programs.
- Understanding and Competency of hand washing and hygiene.
- Competency in observing and monitoring client medication pass (self-administration).
- Ability to set priorities, maintain accurate medical records on each client in accordance with the treatment plans and goals and The Manor’s policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with clients and co-workers to expedite treatment for each guest.
- Willingness to maintain healthy work culture and resolve conflict with the support of program directors.
- An understanding of how to complete and document urinalysis forms and obtain samples from clients.
- Expectation to communicate with Manor staff when required and necessary.
- Flexibility with change and prioritizing.
- Ability to track changes and navigate a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 Years of direct experience working in an addiction treatment program preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- College education preferred
- 12 Step program experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- 18 years of age or older
- Competency in driving The Manor vehicles
- Be able to pass urine drug screen and criminal background check prior to start date
- Prior demonstrated successful experience as Mental Health Technician of Direct Care staff in a residential mental health/substance abuse setting is strongly preferred
Clinical supervision hours towards licensure and certification are offered.
Starting pay $18-20/hour. Benefits are available for full-time employees.
