Bridal Attendant / Server
Are you enthusiastic about weddings or events in general? Do you like interacting and engaging with new and interesting people on a daily basis? If you’re answer is YES you’re in the right spot! We are currently hiring a Bridal Attendant / Server position at The Mansion on Main Street! Candidate must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays and have transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Help keep the Wedding Couple on schedule. Make sure they have everything they need to be comfortable.
- Transport any items for the attendants from the Ceremony to the Reception Room.
- Serve Wedding couple throughout dining service to ensure they experience first-class customer service.
- Be present during Wedding couple photos at Cocktail Hour and follow with drinks and small bites as needed.
- Be attentive to parents of wedding couple in addition to other members of the Bridal Party.
- Ensure Bridal Party has bouquets and assist with boutonnieres when necessary.
- Assist the Event Manager during the reception (gathering VIP guests such as Parents and Bridal Party for the cake cutting and other formalities).
- Help deliver gifts to the Suite.
- Be in communication with the Event Manager regarding any special needs or concerns.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Venue.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guests needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Refresh and clean Suite for couples return after reception.
- Carefully and neatly pack up any remaining accessories, including drop off items and Cake Top.
- Ensure that rooms are re-set for next event.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Undertake any reasonable task and secondary duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Experience is a plus, but it is not required.
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills are required, along with a stable work history.
- High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multi task.
- Able to work independently as well as work as part of a team.
- Candidate must be dependable and reliable.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, guests and management.
- To report for shift punctually and in proper dress code.
- To attend training and meetings as and when required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
